Only actual shipping will be charged, minus a small handling charge, and the extra is refunded back to the customer.
Three shipping options for the continental US: standard, priority, & 3 day express. We ship USPS Priority Mail most of the time, so we can send your order to a PO Box. We use UPS ground when shipping orders that are large, heavy, or over $100. If you prefer us to ship your items any differently please contact us. We will be happy to do so at your expense.
Standard (7-10 business days) means that we send your order out in 3-4 business days (if we are really swamped, it may take us a little longer). If your order is placed on a weekend (Friday after noon Pacific Standard Time, on Saturday, or on Sunday), your order is counted as being received on Monday. As we process orders twice a week, your order may go out sooner. We may send it USPS priority mail or UPS ground. The larger your order is, the longer it may take us. Many toys are not made until you order them.
Priority (3-5 business days) means that your order should get there in one week (Order by a Monday, receive by next Monday). If your order is placed on a weekend (Friday after noon Pacific Standard Time, on Saturday, or on Sunday), your order is counted as being received on Monday. Orders are shipped via USPS priority mail or appropriate UPS method. Available on orders no more than $200.00 total.
3 Day Express (fastest) means that your order is received within 3 business days (order must be received by noon California time and be in stock). A holiday does not count as a business day (see list below). If your order is placed on a weekend (Friday after noon Pacific Standard Time, on Saturday, or on Sunday), your order is counted as being received on Monday and will arrive by Thursday. Available on orders no more than $100.00 total.
From Thanksgiving to New Year's, please allow for extra shipping time (2-3 days).

*Foreign Orders California Bird Nerds is now accepting International Orders to Canada only. This will be on a trial basis. The shipping charges are estimated. Excess shipping charges will be refunded back minus a $3 customs paperwork fee. If for some reason the estimated shipping charges are not enough you will be contacted and requested to pay the additional shipping charges prior to your order being shipped. All International orders will be shipped via the USPS and will be shipped insured. You are responsible for all customs fees. California Bird Nerds is not resposible for items lost or removed during the customs process. We are also not responsible if an invalid address is provided. Please verify your address when you submit the order and once again when your order confirmation email is sent. If there is an error please contact us immediately.
